Some “stranger things” are happening at Liberty Science Center this October! Be there for LSC After Dark: The Upside Down on Oct. 17, 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
Break out the Eggo waffles and New Coke! Our next 21+ LSC After Dark event is inspired by the hit Netflix series. Both fans and non-fans will have a blast at this Halloween party straight out of Hawkins, Indiana! You’ve experienced the pitch-black Touch Tunnel, but never like this – this month, we’re transforming it into the Upside Down! Do you dare crawl through the gate?
Our Halloween adventures don’t stop with Stranger Things. Are you brave enough to walk through our Doom Zoo? Navigate your way through our outdoor Spider Maze, a 4,000-sq-ft webby labyrinth that’s unlike any corn maze you’ve ever seen. Enjoy new Halloween-themed shows in the planetarium. Get creative in our costume contest! (Note: Costumes don’t need to be Stranger Things-related.)
Midnight Market also returns this month with delicious food from local vendors, at only $5 per plate (cash only, please!).
For an additional $6, you can experience our new premium exhibition, Angry Birds Universe! Based on the popular games, the exhibition transports you into the world of Angry Birds for interactive adventures, both physically and mentally stimulating. Use real slingshots to aim birds through the air, build and race vehicles in a live version of Angry Birds Go!, draw your own bird and animate it in the design studio, and more!
PLUS – this month, you can purchase a drink ticket online! Your drink ticket will get you a smoking cocktail, beer, or wine (your choice!).
LSC After Dark events are the third Thursday of every month at Liberty Science Center. Guests 21 and over can enjoy an after-hours adventure featuring drinks, food, music, dancing, access to all the exhibits in the Science Center, and more.
